NIOA attends Parliamentary Friends of Shooting Meeting in Canberra

Last week, Matthew Crossley from NIOA attended a meeting of the Parliamentary Friends of Shooting at Parliament House, Canberra.  Matthew joined Senator Bridget McKenzie, Minister for Sport and Chair of the Parliamentary Friends of Shooting group, with special guests Daniel Repacholi and Laetisha Scanlan.  Daniel won a gold medal in the 50m Men’s Pistol at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.  Laetisha celebrated her 28th birthday by winning gold in the Women’s Trap at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. 

Parliamentary Friends of Shooting aims to connect like-minded individuals who have an interest in recreational shooting.  The group promotes and coordinates events to promote, responsible shooting and hunting sports, both competitive and recreational, for Members of Parliament and Senators.
