Lyman's standard offering of proven, popular designs are the widest available. The designs picture gas checks where appropriate.

Bullet weights listed are nominal and may well vary from bullets dropped from a given mould. Variations between listed nominal weights and actual as-cast weights have absolutely no effect on accuracy.

Lyman Black Powder Bullet designs are reproductions from originals over 100 years ago. The best bullets selected from American and British designs from 45 to 69 calibre. In addition, several modern designs are also offered. These should be cast in pure lead, lubed by hand, and shot as cast.
