Ever wondered where all that legendary orange gear comes from?

Brad and Matt recently made the pilgrimage to Middletown, Connecticut to visit the home of Lyman — a company that’s been perfecting reloading gear since 1878. What followed was a full behind-the-scenes tour of the factory: CNC machines humming away, presses being machined in-house and more reloading know-how than you can fit in a handbook.

There were a few important discoveries along the way:
• “Middletown”… not Middleton. (Apparently that matters.)
• Some of the machines are almost as old as Brad.
• Reloading looks easy… until Matt has a go.

Brad and Matt scored the invite-only experience at Ruger’s Mayodan, North Carolina facility — and let’s just say… not everyone gets through those doors 👀

We got hands-on with the legendary Ruger American Rifle platform, checked out hammer-forged barrels, saw the precision behind every build and got up close with the reborn Marlin Firearms line.

From raw forgings to polished perfection, every rifle is proof-tested, function-tested and built with that final human touch. And no… Matt didn’t pass armourer training — no one realised Matt would need that much supervision.😅♻️
